Gerry is a well-recognized expertise in administrative law in Massachusetts. He is the author and editor of the revised Administrative Law and Practice treatise for the Massachusetts Practice series, originally authored by Alexander Cella, the most-cited work on administrative law in Massachusetts.
Gerry has practiced on behalf of and before a substantial number of administrative agencies, including without limitation the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Department of Industrial Accidents, the Department of Unemployment Assistance, the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission, the State Ethics Commission, the Office of Campaign and Political Finance, the Civil Service Commission, the Department of Labor Relations, and the Division of Administrative Law Appeals.
As the General Counsel for the Office of the State Treasurer, the Office of the State Auditor, and the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, Gerry has first-hand experience working at some of the highest levels of state government.
